Cool Potty Training Prairie dogs?

Hi! I'm new to the forum and I have two little rascals of my own! They are prairie dogs, but we like to refer to them as our own little pokemon, because we named them Diglett and Pikachu!

They are girls, and I love them very much. We aquired them recently and I was wondering if it was possible to potty train them? I heard it was, and I would really like to have them be able to run around the house.

So if anybody has any experience, tips, or a guide I could use, that would be great!

Thanks, I'm so happy to be a part of this forum now!

You can litter train them.

I will warn you though my male thinks his is a bed and my females think it's a bath!!! They just started using there after about a week of working with them. The male has done really well with it.

You can buy litter boxes at most pets stores. They are used for Rabbits, Ferrets and such.

If you need anymore help please let me know

i tried to use a litter box, but it didn't work out. surprisingly though, my PD doesn't go to the bathroom around the house, only in his cage. so i guess that's better than nothing.
