Cool prairie dog diet

I just bought a pd, then found out we needed to take an unexpected trip to nj. while threr we were running low on pd food, and nobody carried pd food. luckily we had enough, but i was wondering if that happened again could i use rabbit or hamster food? also my pd sleeps alot is this normal. she is probaly 8 or 9 weeks old. i have had a pd before and he was alot more playful, all my girl wants to do is get on your shoulder and sleep.

My boy sleeps alot, but he is 10yo. I don't feed prairie dog food, he gets a fresh diet. Lettuce, beans, peas, corn, carrots, sweet potato, nuts, seeds, apple, oatmeal, hays. I do keep a pelleted hay food available (probably rabit) but he really prefers the fresh foods. My prairie stopped eating prairie delight probably when he was 5. He decided he wanted fresh food. He will eat a variety of people foods to. Anything sweat, and he LOVES pumpkin pie.
