Cages!!!!!

I'm hoping to get a glider someday (soon!) And the first step in that direction is a cage.

What are you opinons on some of the Best companies to buy cages from, and have any of you built your own cages?
I'd love to see pictures of eveyone's cages to help give me ideas!!!

Thanks!!!!!

~Misty~

When I get my gliders (which probably won't be for another year or two) I want to get this cage: http://www.sugar-gliders.com/sturdy-cage.htm. I've heard lots of great things about it .

I think that is what we've decided to do....i saw some pictures where someone built a cage out of the White Wire Shelving most people use for closets, I think we can build a very LARGE Sturdy cage, for 1/3 the cost of buying one half the size... *crossfingers* it all works out!!!

Sasamie,
Those are very nice cages.. have had several myself. They're good size, easy to clean, and easy access. :-)

Just a caution.. if you build one your self.. don't use wood. :-) The shelving works great! Wood gets stinky and has to be replaced after not too long..

I'm buying from Martin's Cages. Seems like quite a few people buy reptariums for them also.Always putting the mesh on would be a hassle for me.& Not so good for viewing your gliders.IMO.

I have the hex that you can buy on eBay and sugar-gliders.com, but I still have yet to get the decor just right. I bought it because it matches my Ferret Nation cage for the ferrets. Both were aesthetically pleasing which was a must in my house.

I've heard a lot of a great things about those sturdy cages on sugar-gliders.com plus that expanded supplies package they offer is pretty cool for someone just getting started!

GOOD LUCK!
