Talking

I really want to breed a Leucistic and a 100% Leucistic het. I'm saving money to do this. I'll have my USDA license soon. I have 2 gliders already and have breed them succesfully once, so I know pretty much what to do, I just want to know if there is any difference between a Leu and the gray or if the needs are the same. I would appreciate any advice any one can give me.

Rena,
As for care, leucistics and normals, as well as any other color have the same requirements. Being white, a leucistic MAY need to be kept from intense sunlight.. like if you take them outside. They might be a little sensitive to intense light. Other than that.. they're the same kritter!

They are very neat.. there's a picture of two different Leucistic gliders at www.perfectformgliders.com under the Our Gliders link.. Schwartz is hers, and Hamlet will soon be coming home with me.. :-) Just in case you wanted to see the coloring Vanilla Rat.
