male and female in same cage

I have a male and female glider. I plan to let them breed eventually. My question is: Will it be ok to let them live together and not separate them after they breed?? I want to let them live together so they don't get bored but I don't wanna leave em together if they will hurt each other.

Yes, you should leave mom and dad together after they breed because dad plays a huge role in thier care. He's like a built in baby-sitter that will give mom a rest once in a while if she needs it. It is a bad idea to separate them.. The only reason you might separate them is if dad is trying to hurt the babies, which is not very common. If you separate, mom might kill the babies because she is stressed. :-) I'm a USDA licensed breeder, if you want to talk or have any questions I can help you find the answers.
