Ouch

Went to the vets office where I used to work today.
A lady brought in a pair of gliders to have their noetails clipped.I asked her if I could hold one and she said of course.
While I was holding the female, Doc Angie came in and so I just decided to hold the glider while she trimmed the nails LOL.
The female started biting me a few times but I never gave up.We got to the male and he was harder than the female.I had bitemarks and blood all over my hand by the time the vet was done of course the blood was all mine LOL
The owner and the vet kept asking was I okay and I said I will be fine.
I think the owner was glad that it was me holding them than her.I know the vet tech said she owed me after she saw my hand.
I really miss that part of the job seeing and being with the pets that come in.

Eeek!!

I can understand you missing it but for all you went through, leaving was the right thing to do. Maybe go volunteer at a humane society for a bit?

I'd say you're ready to work there! LOL. So far my glider has just nipped me once, I startled him. He's very sweet.

Kritter_Keeper mine has only nipped me once. The lady was surprised that they were tearing my hand up.I explained to her that they are afraid it was daylight and a stranger was cutting their nails.I myself have never had a problem with my gliders eating me up like that.
AS far as being ready to work there like Jade said I did work ther and quit because of all the problems that was going on there.I had a very heavy load
