Possible SM

So there has been a minor set back in my glider's neuter recovery. Pom Poko (that's his name) has been spending a lot of time in his pouch and is not very interested in eating. Tonight he started to make a noise I hadn't heard before which I thought could be the SM noise and when I checked on him he seemed to have over-groomed or chewed the area between his stomach and leg. The damage is minimal but I put the e collar back on to be safe. I think I will call the vet tomorrow maybe for a follow up appointment. Any further advice you could offer would be great. Thanks.

Take away the pouch, give him a small washcloth-size piece of fleece instead. Pouches seem to encourage them to be less social with their humans to me and also he is mi=uch more accessable to you with a fleece. Good luck
