Baby & Jackpots 1-Year Anniversary!

One year ago today, I picked up my first bunnies Baby & Jackpot.
Baby is around 4 years old, and Jackpot is 2.
If you asked me 10 years ago if I would ever own a rabbit, I probably would have said no. But ask me now and I’ll tell you I can’t live without them.

Happy Anniversary my beautiful boys!

Baby & Jack here in their new forever home.

oh congrats! i just realized the other day weve almost had hoppity for a year, its amazing, we went to atwoods the other day and they had rabbits again.. there was just one left.. and it looked just like hoppity.. i cant tell you how tempted i was to snatch it up! david said i could get it if i could say for sure it was a boy.. but i didnt even want to check (not sure i would have remembered how) but i dont want another rabbit until we 1. have our own place and 2. get hoppity fixed. he was soo cute, and so tiny tho, just like when we got hoppity, i picked him up and he snuggled against me.. i wish hoppity was still that small... *sigh*

Sorry to hijack your thread.. trips down memeory lane are so much fun.. i love your boys, they look like there just ment to be together, if only all bunnys could be so lucky to have such a friend, and such a lovely forever home

Thanks everyone
Baby has been alot of work behaviour wise, somedays he had me in tears. But you know, I couldn't give him up, he's my snuggle bunny, and he is SO smart, if i tell him it's time to go to bed, he hops right back into his cage

Zeus does that too! It's so funny, I tell him "Go to your room" and he goes into his cage.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! It is wonderful they found their forever home with you. I know what you mean about having bunnies. Until Tabby I never even wanted a bunny and I want all fuzzy things. Now I could not be without one! I don't think people realize how wonderful they are. I really think that once you realize they can be housebroken they become much more desirable. People just don't realize they can use a litter box. Even my friend last month thought they piddled in the box but poo'd everywhere. She was amazed that they only poo'd in their boxes.
And it's so funny that you already have 4 bunnies. It makes me feel so much better. I could not get another bunny with Tabby but after she passed we got two at the same time. And now we got our third bunny!
Bunnies are like potato chips!

5 foster bunnies. Wow I should tell Jay but fosters become permanant in our house - although I did find a home for the piggies. Then again I have piggie sitting rights so I am not sure if that is cheating. And I can ask their mom about them monday through friday. Yeah that has to be cheating.

I have someone interested in Sara, a rex foster I have. Ryan and I are a bit upset thinking about her going somewhere else.
The family is still in the application process, so it's not a done deal.
But I know even though I'll miss her, I will be happy to know she's with a loving family.

I think two of my fosters (Ebony & Mittens) will probably end up staying with us as, Ebony is handicap and both girls are older. I don't mind though, as they are wonderful little girls.
