Bunny birthdays!

Tomorrow is the 2nd annaversery of the day I got my little Zeus!

Can't believe I've had him for 2 years already. It doesn't feel like it's been that long, and yet, it feels like we've had him forever

And I'm sure he'll have a happy birthday, because he's finally over all his health problems and feeling like himself again! I've been dealing with the typical rabbit tummy and teeth issues with him on and off for the past couple of months, but he finally seems to be over those, thankfully!

And the reason I titled this "bunny birthdays' and not "Zeus's birthday", is becase a month from today, July 13th, it will have been a year since we got Barnaby!

I don't think I'm going to be getting either of them anything for their birthdays, because when Chris and I move into our new apartment (hopefully by July 1st), they're getting this:

And a bunch of new supplies (litter box, beds, toys...) to fill their gaint new cage.

I am making a cake though, which they'll only actually get a tiny tiny bite of. But it's an excuse for me to make/eat cake

Thanks! I think Zeus had a good birthday, and the cake was good! I took some pictures, I'll try to remember to post them later.

I know I wish the cage wasn't as expensive. Chris hates the NIC cubes though and wanted to get something "nice" since the cage is probably going to be in our living room. I don't like any of the pet store cages because most of them are way to small, IMO. Neither of us are very handy so building one ourselves is pretty much out of the question. We were either going to get them that cage, or just let them live in an Xpen. But since we plan on eventually getting more pets (dogs), we thought a cage might be safer. I heard good reviews about that cage which is good, I would be really upset if I get it for them and they destroy it quickly.

I made vinalla cake with strawberries and a lighting bolt made out of sprinkles on top, lol. The bunnies got a nice big salad for dinner and some strawberries for dessert

Vanilla cake with strawberries...wow sounds so good. I didn't know bunnies like spongecake or whatever.

Yeah if you plan on having more pets, that cage seems good. Plus it would definitely look better.

Congrats on the new apartment!
