Bunny Rituals

Do your bunnies go through little rituals? Before Lucky takes a drink from his dish, he always chews the edge 4 times before he starts to drink..........Also, when he hops in his litter box he brings his lop ears forward to hide...like closing the bathroom door for privacy. It is so funny...because he keeps checking to see if you are looking at him doing his business.

I used to have a rabbit named Sparkie who would groom the area in front of him before lying down...he was a bit of a neat freak .

Every morning Sakura runs to the kitchen...but that's because she gets treats .

My buns each have their own little OCD things too - maybe it's another trait of a bunny?

Alex - I think just about everyone is OCD about something. My husband still finds new things to point out that I do - even after 7 years. One of the first ones he noticed is that I eat M&M's in pairs (and I prefer them to be the same color). He knows when I have an odd number of them when I just give him one without him asking for it.

Mine doesn't do anything like that but you can tell when he is going to the bathroom. He gets that "I'm pooping" look like a kid. It is like he is concentrating. He will also take something in the "potty chair" with him to chew on when he has to be in there a while. I guess it is his way of reading. Maybe you should put a cover on the litterbox so he will have some privacy.
