What your bunny is really saying:
This is Thumper. He knows it's time to go inside, so he surrenders.
This is an expression of joy. It's a leap in the air, a twist, and a flicking of the feet. Watch out for these!
How do you know Smokey is sleeping? Rabbits usually sleep with their eyes open, but the giveaway is their twitching noses. Other rabbits sleep with their eyes closed. Scary!
Misty is curious about something. He is standing on his two feet to get a view of his surroundings. It also occurs when a rabbit has heard something and is tryinng to figure out what it is.
Who Goes There?
When rabbits thump a hind leg, it's a sign of danger. In the wild, rabbits do it to alert the others of the danger. This is good to use when you want to retrieve a misbehaving bunny. Thump!
You are feeling Sleepy...
Trancing bunnies: While some rabbits love it, others can't put up with being turned onto their backs. Flip over your rabbit and keep a firm hold on her bottom. Stroke her head.
Bunnies and rabbits love to be massaged. Gently massage their cheeks and gently pull on their ears. Pet them from the tip of their nose back to their ears, and soon your bunny will enter a deep state of relaxation.
Rabbits will tiptoe when they've spotted something unfamiliar, like Thumper has with this bannana.
He's tiptoing closer to get a better look and make sure the bannana isn't dangerous. RAWR!!
Rabbits just love to climb on anything in sight. It's often to get a better view of their surroundings, like when they stand on their hind legs. Smokey and Thumper enjoy watching everything below their high-rise Bunny Condo.
