so, the person I got Rencia from said not to feed her too many carrots because they can cause cancer or heart problems...everything I've researched says carrots are fine to feed rabbits...does anyone else know anything more??

I have never heard of them causing cancer but then again I am still new to the rabbit pet family. Now I do know that they should not get too many as they are high in calorie content and could over a perioud of time cause the rabbit to become obies (Rabbits USA pp.4-11) it is best to serv vegies at 1 cup per 4 pouds of body weight. Hope this helps and lets see what others have to say.

I've never heard that before. Carrots are fine though you shouldn't give to many because that may cause diarhea and because of the high sugar content.
