Considering a partner for Oliver, Advice

So Ive been considering getting a second rabbit so Oliver can have some company at home while we are at work durring the day.

This past saturday we took him back to the shelter for a round of "dates." 1 bunny looked really promising. But im still not sure if having 2 bunnies is a completely good idea.

What do you think?

My only advice is make sure you pick one that will be able to be bonded to Oliver. I adopted my mini-rex off my cousin and was NEVER able to successfully bond her to Acacia. This means extra playtime alloted each day to ensure both get out and attention. It's a harder job to care for 2 un bonded I think, especially since your working. I find it sometimes hard to balance them with work and school. SO, yes you done the right thing by preparing playdates at the shelter And make sure their both neutered, and spayed. I read somewhere it might be easier for you to bond a fixed pair of boy-girl. Good luck!
