Do generally boys or girls get them? Why do rabbits get them? Are they important or trouble? Can you get them removed/would you want to?

females get them, they are important, momma bunnies pull the hair out of their dewlap to make a nest. I don't think that they really get in the way or anything, or cause trouble so i wouldn't think of getting it removed. I don't think all get them either

Females only. If a male gets a dewlap check its no-no's and make sure you have a boy ! If a bunny is spayed at 6 months she shouldnt develop it since she'll have no use for it. My Acacia was spayed at 7 months and she doesnt have one but Akina was never spayed and hers dangles low! she holds her carrots and strawberries in it and then stains her fur!!

Thanks guys. I was just curious because I'm trying to figure out what my rabbit will look like when he's older. My bunny, Adobe, is only 8-12 weeks old I'm guessing (just judging by the age pet stores normally sell rabbits, his size, and how his genitals look). So he's still to young to tel for sure. But I'd say from the pictures I've seen and descriptions I've read that he's male. His little thing gets some hight and there is a small circular hole in the top, definitely not a slit going down. I plan to get him neutered at 6 months.
