Do rabbit's lose color

Do rabbit's lose some of their color when they molt? When i saw pictures of my little mr. BunBun he had alot more color then he does now or has the color just stretch when they get older?

I have heard that rabbits can change color with the seasons (I guess they mean when they molt). When I got Teddy he had looked like his ears, nose and feet had a little dirt on them. As time passed his ears, nose and feet turned gray. When I told people with bunny experience they said that he may change color with the seasons. But he didn't get any lighter this summer.
I think in Teddy's case he was lighter because of the sun - he was found as a stray outside.

Flash was a brighter red when I first found him than he is now. He has a white undercoat now beneath the red that wasn't as prevalent at first, so I'm pretty sure the red just seems like it faded because of the white mixed in.

Ok good so i not crazy at all for thinking BunBun looked different from his baby picture to what he look's like now since he isn't so dark now as he was when he was a baby.

I have a himalayan dwarf - white with dark grey nose and ears. I remember one season she shed all the dark off - her nose was completely white and her ears were almost all white too. Then it seemed to grow back. I guess it happens...
