Question dog eats rabbit poo

Is this bad for my dog? He follows the bunny until he finds his little treats and then he gobbles them up and waits for the next set of droppings.

It's fairly normal. Think of it this way... Some people like to wear perfume, and some like breath mints and flavors. Dogs are the same way, but their sense of taste is very different from ours.

I guess your dog likes rabbit poo breath mints. Fortunately for you, dogs digestive systems are fairly strong and so he shouldn't have a major problem.

I wouldn't want him licking me without brushing his teeth tho...

Haha my parent's dog ate some Zeus poops too! Usually Zeus is upstairs because the dog stays downstairs - but one time the dog ran upstairs and I got worried because I heard Zeus thumping his feet up there. I ran up to see what was going and and Zeus was mad that the dog was so close to him, but the dog was ignoring the bunny and just happily munching on his poop - icks!

The same dog was also very fond of cat poo back when we had a cat.

I don't think it hurts them, it never hurt my parents dog - it's just gross!

My Bunnies are a Pez Dispenser to my Dog.
Dogs love poop, though I try to encourage my dog NOT to eat the poops, as it give her REALLY bad gas. But other then that there is nothing the rabbits eat that will hurt the dog, so you don't have to worry.

My dog also loved everything (buy veggies & fruit) I feed the bunnies, pellets and canned pumpkin she will steal from them.

My dogs find wild bunny poo and eat it. I try to stop them but by the time I get over to them it's usually all gone. It is rather gross. I keep telling them not to since we don't know where that bunnies been. I keep them away from our bunnies. When I used the towels to line the cage before they were litter trained I would shake the towels out front. Sometimes I would drop a poo or two and immediately it would get eaten up.

My dogs also love anything I feed the buns. Lettuce, tomatoes, blueberries, arugula, bananas, carrots - anything -I just don't give the dogs grapes or raisins.
Belle even ate lettuce, I accidentially dropped on Franks back, right off his back tonight. It was funny because Frank had no idea it was there.
