Double Chins?

I've noticed, over the last fiew days, my bunny Caesar has "grown" a double chin. Charlie doesn't have one, so is it just fat storage? I'v seen a lot of buns with that type of thing, so I'm not worried, just curious.

Its called a dewlap. I don't know too much about them. I know unspayed females get really large dewlaps. Sonora and Rusty both have very small ones.

The bunny my brother had in Germany was an unspeyed female. That would explain the large "dewlap." New vocab. word! :hpydance:

"Dewlap" is the name for the double chin, which is just extra skin/fat hanging down. It is most common in females (particularly unspayed females), but it is also seen sometimes in male rabbits.
