Lightbulb Easy way to trim rabbit nails

I just flipped him upside down; he tranced out and I snipped each nail a little above the quick with no reaction. Snip, snip. Easy. I suppose someone has tried this before, but for those who haven't, try it.

Great tip! I have tried it and it works great for one of my rabbits but not for my other rabbit. I also put a cement patio block in their cage for them to walk across and it helps to wear down their nails so I don't have to trim them as often.

Well, I surely don't need the block, although it is a good idea for some. She has clear white nails, my bun, so I can always tell where the quick is. I tried it with my GPs but they didn't care for it much!
