Unhappy Geronimo very Ill *graphic pic*

Yesterday morning i got up and went out to my bunnies and all but one is doing fine, my Geronimo all down the left side of his face was wet and he had gunk coming from his left nostral. I went and got straight on the phone to my friend who is a registed breeder and asked what could be the problem and she did not know so i took him straight doen to the vet to see what he says and what he can do to fix him..
I got to there and seen a vet and he said it's one of 2 things its either Myxo (which is the disease relised in Australia to control wild rabbits) or is a respiratory infection, so he gives him a shot of antibiotics and says come back tomorrow.
I've been to see the vet today and he says it's none of the things i said yesterday its a Pasteurella infection( all bunnies have pasteurella in there systems just not all are effected by it) so he gave Geronimo another shot of antibiotics and says it might clear or it might not and if it does not clear in the next 3 day either lay him to rest or I can opt to give him the shots every day myself but that is a 20% chance that he will live a normal and happy life....

Please pray for my Geronimo and hope that he improves in the next 3 days...

This is him yesterday when i found him

A Prayer for Animals
By Albert Schweitzer

Hear our humble prayer, O God,
for our friends the animals,
especially for animals who are suffering;
for any that are hunted or lost
or deserted or frightened or hungry;
for all that must be put to sleep.
We entreat for them all
Thy mercy and pity,
and for those who deal with them
we ask a heart of compassion
and gentle hands and kindly words.
Make us be true friends to animals
and so to share
the blessings of the merciful.

((((HUGS)))) I'm so sorry that Geronimo is sick. I will pray that your little Geronimo will be feeling better soon.

I don't think it's that grim - but it could be.
My Tabby had pasterella. When I found her she had a head tilt, wet eyes and a snotty nose. She was also severely under weight. She hung on for 10 months! Not only hung on but thrived and got much better. Oh and they thought she was about 7, too. She went through a lot of baytril and metacam but she was very happy. Her eyes cleared up and so did her nose. She always had the head tilt but that just made her more special and she certainly didn't seem to care.
You should watch him closely and we will all keep him in our prayers but don't worry yourself sick - he will pick up on it. Stay positive and keep us posted!

I'm not really the type to pray, though I'll say a little prayer for him tonight. Poor lil guy...I hope he gets better soon.

His nose has now stopped running and his eye looks a little better but not much, He still has not eaten in 4 days the only thing i have seen him have was half a baby carrot and he had a drink of his own wee. I'm still very worried about him we are back to the vet tomorrow ...
