Does anyone own a giant rabbit? We are picking two up on Tuesday but they are cross, will they grow as big does anyone know?

Me too! I would adore one! As storminstaffs says, it would all depend what it was crossed with. Bred with another large breed it could get just as big, which, i think, is more likely than it being bred with a smaller breed.

My friend used to have a big english lop...boy,what a cutie he was! I really liked him...he was always tripping in his ears tho!

we have a large english lop shes fawn colored, her names hunny bunny


this is the only pic I could find of her on this computer theres better pics of her somewhere.


I'd love to have a flemish giant someday, either solid black or solid white

Yes, as other people have said, it depends what it's crossed with. If one parent was a giant and one was a smaller breed, the offspring will be smaller, but if they were both giants then the babies will be big too.

I have a Flemish Giant and she is wonderful!!! She's 7 1/2 lbs at 13 weeks old. She's very affectionate and very active. Her introduction to my other rabbits took about 5 weeks, but now they all get along great. She eats (and consequently, poops) a ton, so stock up on the food and litter! I think you'll enjoy having big buns - so much to love Hopefully you can post some pics, I'd love to see them.

I had a Flemish Giant buck for about 5 years. He passed away last summer from the heat. He was a great, gentle rabbit.
