Unhappy Help-Baby Bunny Died

Can anyone shed some light as to why one of our bunnies died? Our doe recently had 5 babies and all survived. We kept them until they were 81/2 weeks old and then gave them new homes. We found homes for 3 of the babies and gave the remaining 2 to a local pet farm(where we originally bought the doe, so the bunnies are with their grandmother!!) 1 went to a family that already had a rabbit and she is doing fine..... BUT the problem we have is with the remaining 2 - both were rehomed together and after a week one of them died. The poor girl who took them thinks she did something wrong to have the bunny die.
?????????????????????????????????????/

Was the rabbit eating and pooping? If they don't eat for 12 hours or more it should be considered an emergency and they can die from GI stasis very quickly without treatment.

I'm going to move this to the rabbit section, you might get more help there.

So sorry about the rabbit.

I doubt if the dog in another room spooked it to death. Sometimes when people aren't around their dog gets next to the cage and tries to get at the bunny which can spook it to death. It was just a possibility. I do suggest they get the other bunny to the vet for a check up though.
