I think they've lost it...

My dad and brother have officially lost their minds! Since it has gotten so cold outside, my brother and dad want to build a heater to put under Charlie's cage so she doesn't get too cold. They want to construct a piping system that channels warm water underneath the cage, like a below ground heater. Are they crazy?!? I asked my dad to remember what I had told him a few weeks back about putting Chalie inside. He said she won't get cold, but look who's gonna build a heater for the bunny! :hitself:

Under Pet Heating system

That sounds like a down right hair brained loony Idea, great if they manage to pull it off, I personally think it would be easier top move Charlie indoors.

Sorry to here that madness is in the family , Better leave this kind of stuff to the Romans, they do it better.

Is this Idea safe ?

I also would be concerned about the safety of the heater. If there are any problems, it could spark and cause a fire, especially if the cage has wood in it or if it catches on any hay or straw.

They've perfected the plan. It will be a warm water heater and there is no way a fire could come. I really wasn't paying attention. My dad doesn't seem to understand that it would be easier to move Charlie inside. Crazy people, I hope I don't turn out that way!
