Info Needed!

Okay,my sister wanted me to find out some info about one of her bunnies. She has no internet and so I decided to come here and ask.

Okay, one of her bunnies,Acacia has tiny, dry poops.Amanda (sis) wanted to know if this is serious or from eating carpet fibers,dehrdration...etc.

Also she wants some info about GSI (Gastrointestinal Infection).

And she wants to know of any remedies before she takes the bun to the vet.

Any and all tips, advice and even websites are appreciated.
I will pass all info on to my sister.Thanks.

Small poops can be a sign of the start of GI stasis, which can quickly lead to death if nothing is done. If the rabbit stops eating or pooping, even for a day (12 hours), it's very important to get them to a vet ASAP.

If her rabbit is eating carpet, it could have a blockage.

I don't know much about infections. Buuut things to try at home include giving the rabbit baby gas-X, tummy rubs, and lots of hay/fresh greens. Here are some sites that might be helpful (especially the first one). But honestly if these things don't improve the rabbits condition in a few hours, I would take it to a vet.

Here are some sites that might be helpful:

I hope Acacia dont have a block, VERY expensive and can kill a rabbit. Hope she dont have a block. She should see the vet that has the xray hands, she can tell if there is a block before the xray!!
