Jacks Not Eating!

Jackpot is not eating this morning.
I offered him a craisin, he refused it, so then i gave him a papaya tablet, and he took that. I offered him some Apple/Pinapple sauce he refused it.
So I picked him up and rubbed his little tummy for a while, then rubbed it with my vibrating toothbrush, offered him the Apple/pineapple sauce and he still did want that. I let him down and could here his tummy grumbling.
Though when I offered him a crasin this time, he took it.

His fur around his bum and legs were damp, but i think it's from sitting in his brothers urine (cuz he refuses to use a litter box, guess he likes dancing in his own urine ggrrr.. Baby ).

Am I over reacting?
It's just Jack is a food man, Baby usually dosn't eat his breakfast veggies, but not Jack.
I don't see any unusual poops, but then there are two rabbits in there.
Yesterday i gave them some dried out bread crusts, could this have done soemthing??
Or is he just mad b/c of the whole girl bunny incodent yesterday? (Ani got INTO there cage.. thats a story for another day)

I'm going to try and bring the boys outside into the yard today, maybe that will get him to move around and eat more grass.

suggestiosn PLEASE!

How did it go? Has he eaten? I dont know much about this but if I were trying to tempt Tabby I would also try baby food veggies or fresh bananas.

Please let me know how he is doing today?

His stomach might be upset. Or maybe it;s a hairball. My bunny did that to me once and the next day she was fine. Give them lots of hay and water. maybe try some pineapple, it helps with hairball.

Is he drinking a lot of water??

I give Tabby some pineapple every day - is that okay? I figure the last thing she needs is a hairball and she LOVES the pineapple.

Im not sure every day is OK, well depends on the amount you give. Here is what i found from rabbit.org:

Limit fruits to 1-2 tablespoons per 5 lbs. of body weight (none if dieting).

Jacks not doing any better, so we have an appointment with the Vet this afternoon.
It seems he has GI Stasis.
I've been sitting him on a heating pad, and vibrating his tummy, force feedign him water, and a mixture of mashed pellets with apple/pineapple sauce and soem homeopathic stomach remidy for bunnies. But still no poops,a dn he refuses food, even yummies.

Please keep him in your thoughts today!

Sending good vibes for JACK.

Please before applying heat pads to his tummy, make sure he's not having fever.

PLEASE i did the same thing, and it wasnt GI but her kidneys were failing and she had really high fever and it just got thing worse. I almost lost her because of the fever

you can use a baby thermometer with some vaseline and put it in her butt. If you dont have any just check the ears if they are really hot. Here is a link how to check the temp:

I will say a prayer for Jack. Please keep us posted! I hope he is feeling better soon. I am glad he is going to the vets.

as for the pineapple and Tabs - she may get a little more than that in fruits a day but I am trying to put weight on her and I watch her poos that they are okay - I will be more caredful as to how many raisins I give her in the morning.

Thank you, that's a great link.
Unfortunetly I don't own a themometer (I did and i broke it).
Jacks not overly warm or anything, it he was ya I wouldn't put the pad on.

i'm waiting, waiting, waiting so we can go to the Vet, it's taking way to long. I told the girl it was an emergency and I still had to wait. I'm going to go in early anyways.
i'm bringing both bunnies, so jack isn't so stressed out.

I'm really pissed off b/c when I was looking for 'helpful' information some guy on PH told me I was Killing my Rabbit.... Didn't ask why i couldn't take him to a Vet yesterday (maybe b/c they were not open) or anything, just accused me.
It sucks b/c there are some really good rabbit savvey posters there, but b/c of this one a$$hat I don't think I'll ever post there again (And I've been a member for YEARS there).

Thank you everyone for your help, this site always makes me happier to post as everyones so nice.

You are not killing your bunny - that is a terrible thing to say! No one is open on Sundays! Not every one has places like the University of Penn nearby or other 24 hour places that would offer you a place to go after hours! I am lucky and have that but still I would wonder how rabbit savvy they are.

I will keep praying really hard for Jack! When I get home I will say a prayer with my kids - I swear it helps when you have them with you.

I am filling up with tears now that he would even say that to you. Hang in there and you are right show up early they may be able to take you early.
Good luck - kisses to all your kids!
