just a little update!
I have Marsha (newest rescue angora) right next to Charmin in open top nic pens. I had cardboard separating them, because I didnt want either of them stressed out by the others presence. I decided to take down the cardboard now that they are settled in well.
I really think they will bond great. They are hanging out and being buddies through the pen bars! LOL
I have to get Marsha spayed before I start the bonding process. But from the looks of it, it will hopefully be a smooth bond.
I am undecided if I will even try to bond them with my other bunny Ryo. So far two bonds have failed with her. my mom gave me her rabbit, and Ryo just couldnt bond with her. after three months I seen that it was not going to work. Luckily mom missed her bunny and gladly took her back! And there was another rabbit I tried to bond to Ryo. I tried for 7 months before throwing in the towel. Luckily the neighbors wanted him. He is now an indoor spoiled rich rabbit. His new owners are lawyers and live in a huge house! LOL
so I am not sure if I will even try to bond Ryo with another rabbit.
I read on bonding in many places and did everything by the book... but nothing worked for her. Maybe she wants to be a lone bun forever. Heck, she doesnt even care much for human attention. she likes to be left alone, and fed.
