Marsha is dead :(

Marsha died last night at about 10:00 pm.
I have no idea what happened to her. she just suddenly died. I had her out in a NIC pen, and I herd her doing binkies. then she plopped to the ground onto her side and she was dead.
I have seen my rabbits do binkies and the "dead bunny flop" many times. but she actually died.

No idea why she died. I am very upset
the ONLY thing that I noticed that was off about her is that she didnt finish her pellets that morning. she usually eats them all and is VERY excited to get them. That morning she just ate a few and hopped away. she was eating hay, and pellets the day before.

RIP Marsha!

Im so sorry!
Ive heard stories about buns doing that before (running around happy, and suddenly falling over dead), and she might have had a heart condition. One of the rabbits Ive heard of that died like that ended up having an enlarged heart that her owners didnt know about untill it was too late. So there might not have been anything that you could have done anyway.

I'm so sorry. She was lucky to have experienced having a good home before she passed.
