Molly gives me the biggest scares!!!!

Check out how this girl sleeps!!! Is it any wonder I freak out!!! normally I say her name and she wakes up straight away so I can never get a photo. This day I opened the top of her cage, got the photo (with a flash) and she still didn't wake up. Then I got really scared and so I called her name, nothing. I called it louder, nothing. I touched her and she jumped 5 feet n the air and ran around the cage thumping like crazy until I could get her to pat her and calm her down. I think we scared the crap out of each other!!

Believe it or not I cleaned her cage the day before!!! And her feet are that colour from living on newspaper

Wow, that would scare me too! Mine never go into a deep sleep like that when I'm home. They probably sleep deeper at night when its quiet. They do flop on their sides in what we call "dead bunny pose." I know that sounds gross but thats what they look like! But then if they hear a noise, they get up right away. I'm glad she's ok. Its nice to see you posting pics too!

Thankfully she did that to me on a cooler day...if it was on one of our super hot days I would have been racing her to work freaking out!!!!
As soon as she calmed down she flopped back into that pose again....she just kept moving if she heard the slightest noise. Shadow doesn't sleep in the dead pose...she might roll over on to her side but she doesn't get the dead look about her like Molly does!
Crazy animals is right Steph!!! when I was calling her name and she wasn't responding I was nearly in tears!
