More Brian Pictures

Just thought id post up some more pictures of Brian, my newest baby. He is settling in well and has practically turned into a house rabbit, he is in the house whenever I am and goes back about 9 o clock at night which is when i cover his hutch up for bed time. The plan is to add a bottom level to his hutch to act as a run. It will be a bit longer and wider than the hutch and have a hay rack and lots of tubes and things for hi mto play with, and once that is added im gonna get him a friend, either a guinea pig or another rabbit. Not sure yet.

Awww Brian is gorgeous I wouldn't recommend getting a guinea pig as a friend for him though, I've heard of too many cases where a rabbit has accidentally kicked out when they are frightened and killed the piggie with their powerful hind legs Another bunny would be best

Very cute!!

I agree with Chrissy, though, another rabbit would be better.

awww hes cute!
Oscar has a huge folding dog crate..doubles as a hutch ofr overnight and a run..
lol i used to cover our house bunny woozle over at night with a bath towel..made me feel like i had a budgie!!

I agree...bunnie often do unmentionable things to piggies and ive known of one who died as a result.
Then again ive known others who made a success of it.
After watching oscar tonight having a hug on the sette whilst i was hugging leonie..he went and gave her a huge kiss and a gentle face rub..she was so happy. When i turned the lights out after popping them both to bed i could just see them sniffing and chatting through the bars and lying down next to each other..aww..i hope they can get back to bonding soon..
so i would say get a bunny friend.

Cute bunny! I have a play area outside for my rabbits with tubes to run through, tree branches to chew on and stools to lay under. I noticed that if I move things around in their yard every week, they don't dig burrows!

Well i have just come back from the local pet store after trying to find a decent rabbit run and i think i have found one, its a fold out style one but instead of attaching it ina circle im gonna leave a gap and attach it to the side of the hutch. so it can be used as a run but they can also get back inside the hutch as a palce to hide and get out of bad weather. I also found a friend for him, a Blue Netherland Dwarf male. He is currently living with other rabbits so i think they wil lsocialise well. I wil lprobably go back and get him ina few days when i have set the run up.

ooh check your runs price on bunnymail..bunnybasics..and the rabbit rescue one..i cant remeber the url..but im thinking of doing that with the run..unless i get my cube house bulit overnite!!
Until they have bonded it means living seperately and shes still only just litter box trained..so either way that sort of run would be perfect.

Um hun is Brian a fella? Is he neutered? Cos even if he is..he is more likey to fight with another buck. A neutered male and spayed female make the best pairing so im told..but if this bun is living with others..is it a baby in a petshop or a bunny in a rescue?

Good luck..my bonding problems are going to be an issue now oscars had his dental..aarghhh..so hard! But once done..well worth it eh.

both are un neutered males, they wont be living together for a while when im bonding them anyway I would never just dump them in together. If they dont get on they will just continue living apart.
