My bunny babies

I currently have 3 mini rex rabbits; Taikai, Sotoumi (AKA "Pie"), and Kokezaru (AKA "Monkey"). Taikai is Pie's mother. Monkey is unrelated. Taikai and Pie are almost identical in looks and in personality, and Mokey is quite a ham! He loves to be in the spotlight. LOL.

You can see Taikai at http://www.tsukiyo.org/General/Current/taikai2.html

Pie is at http://www.tsukiyo.org/General/Current/soto2.html (Sorry, posed picture only as I have not gotten the regular pictures off the camera onto the computer)

Monkey is at http://www.tsukiyo.org/General/Current/monkey2.html

I am very proud! Taikai is the apple of my eye. She can do no wrong in my eyes. LOL. She is so funny, too, because she will actually box at the cat if he pesters her too much. She is so mild-mannered and lazy any other time, but if the cat bothers her, she will go into turbo mode and kick his little kitty butt. LOL!

Very cute. Otter looks a lot like my Rusty.

Is Rusty the one one the left in your banner that reads "I love my bunnies"? If so, Otter looks like him because she is a castor mini rex and Rusty is a very heavily marked broken castor either rex or mini rex (judging by the ears I would say rex, but might just be a larger, longer-earred mini rex).

Yep, thats Rusty. His ears look large in that pic because his head is closer to the camera, and his body was a lot skinnier then (I think that pic was taken when he got out of the shelter). He does have long ears, but I think he's a mini-rex because he's only about 4 lbs.

Here's the pic. It was on the Rescue's site. He has a lot of white on his chest and his chest is very spotted (you can't tell in that pic).

Ears must just be longer than average for a mini rex, but that is not ususual for pet mini rex. He's a cutie!

NavyWife, oh you lucky thing! You are in Italy! We are stationed in Minot, North Dakota, land of snow, more snow, cold (-60*F for two months, if you include windchill), winters that last forever, and absolutely nothing to do. >_<
