Hi, I recently got 2 male lionhead buns. They are just under 2 months old. I was wondering at what age should I get them neutered?

Speak to your vet. It is probrally best to neuter them at about 5 months because it is more dangerous to operate on a younger rabbit.

Oliver was supposed to be 3 months when we got him and he was neutered about 3 weeks after we brought him home. I don't know if he was really that young. He did very well. He was good with his litter box before the neuter but after he has been perfect. He is such a good boy.

Get your Vet to check them out, and then make an appointment. They may be able to get done now, or you may have to wait for them to develop, but you definetly want to get them done before their hormones kick in and they start hurting one another.

PS: Any pictures?

I want them! They are so adorable!!

Jay asked if the first little one was a dog bunny.

Do you have them in a baby crib? That is a cute idea.

Cute bunnies!!
I agree with Sasami, when their testicles drop
But do talk to your vet.Don't wait a few years down the road because too young is not good, but too old isn't either
