Normal Rabbit Vital Stats

Below are the normal vital signs for domestic rabbits. It is best to know the norm for your rabbit for each sign so you can tell if something is wrong, since there is such a wide range of norms for each sign, depending on age, size, and breed.

Heart Rate: 180 to 300 beats per minute
Respiratory Rate: 30 to 60 breaths per minute
Body Temperature (C): 38.5 to 40.0 degrees C
Body Temperature (F):101.30 to 104.00 degrees F
Pulse: 140 to 150
Rectal Temperature: 101 to 103 *F
