oink oink?

My boyfriend was trying to play with jellybean today by moving his hand quickly in front of him (like you would do to a cat). All of a sudden Jellybean started oinking. Is that sound a bunny growl?? I dont know Ive never heard it before!

Mine do the same thing. I call it "grunting" though. I almost sounds like a car horn lol . Its a very common thing for some bunnies to do when they get excited. They can either be happy/excited or nervous/excited when they do it. I wouldn't worry about it. Jelly Bean was probably playing with your boyfriend.

Sonora does all the time it when I let her out to play. She grunts and thumps her legs like to announce that she is out lol. Or she'll do it when she's really hyper and running around doing kicks in the air. Rusty does it too, mainly only when he's around her. When I tried to bond them, he did it out of nervousness. I have heard him doing it when he was playing to though.

He seems to be grunting more and more. Now he does it when we give him treats or if we try and get him from under the couch!

My dogs do that Dutchie has done that once or twice and Lucky has only done it once. But they've too grunted or "oinked"
