Pictures of Sparkie

Here are some pictures of Sparkie playing outside. They were actually taken almost a month ago but I didn't upload them until now.

They aren't very exciting...he's not the most active rabbit . When he goes outside he hops around for a few minutes, eats some dandelions, and then takes a long nap in the sun.

"Let me out of here!"

And here's a random photo I took a few days ago...he was sleeping with my slipper :

He loves my slipper and almost always sleeps next to it. I don't mind since it's better then when he'd mark it .

Lol he's a bit of a higeldy piggeldy chinchilla bun, Schneeball is more of an even colour, saying that Purplebunny's Harvey is similar, still a handsom chappie

Those are some great pictures, he sure is a good lookin guy!

Does he stay in that pen?
I'd be affraid my little guy would hop right out (he's sometimes very naughty).

I like the slipper photo, my dog will take our dirty clothes and pull them to her bed to sleep with. You bun probably does it for the same reason, he likes your smell and it makes him happy.

Thanks . Yup, he stays in the pen while outside. He's too big to slip out of it and is always supervised closely . The other bunnies have harnesses but I haven't found a good one that comes in Sparkie's size .

We don't have a working scale at the moment but I believe the last time he was weighed he was nearly 15 pounds...and he's not overweight or anything . I always called him a Flemish Giant/Chinchilla mix but lately I've been thinking he's actually a breed called the Giant Chinchilla...they were actually developed by breeding Flemish Giants and Standard Chinchillas so that'd make sense.

And don't worry, I'm always taking pictures . I just don't have as many of Sparkie since he doesn't really like the camera.

15 lbs! OMG!!!!
yikes I thought my 7 pounder was a big boy!
That is so neat, is he a cuddle bun? I read so much about bigger bunnies being such lovies.

He used to be extremely anti-social but is warming up to me . He's still not exactly cuddly but enjoys being pet and will sit on my lap as long as I give him a banana chip, lol.

But yeah, big bunnies are usually snugglier . My 10-pound Californian rabbit, Sakura, is really cuddly (though at the moment she's mad at me for clipping her nails, haha).
