Wink Quite a scare!

I woke up this morning to find jellybean laying in his litterbox. HE NEVER DOES THAT. I went to the kitchen got his greens and filled his bowl, he still didnt move. I tried feeding him a little and he wouldnt eat. I went and got his favorite treats and tried to give him one of those. He still wouldnt eat. He just laid there all hunched in his litterbox.

I was thinking he was constipated but I called the vet anyway. They told me to bring him in right away, a rabbit not eating is serious!

I dropped my friend off and came back to my place to get jellybean and what do I find????

HE ATE EVERYTHING, GREENS, TREATS ETC, HE POOPED IN HIS LITTERBOX AND HE WAS JUMPING AROUND AND CHEWING ON HIS BARS TO COME OUT!

What a relief!!!!!! Ive never been so happy to hear him chewing on the bars!!

Anyway, I guess he was either constipated or just shy around company!

I'm glad he's ok! My mini-lop, Sake, scared me once like that.

I am glad that he is ok! He is such a cutie!!! My bunny did a bit the same thing yesterday. Got me a bit worried. I opened the playpen door at a unusual time and he didnt want out!!!! That scared me! I guess sometimes they just want to give a bit of worry!

That sounds like something I would say!

Mine get shy around other people too. They get very nervous and sit in their litterboxes. I get scared when I catch them in "dead bunny" position. They lay completely on their sides with their legs out. It always scares me when I walk in and they are like that. They even look stiff! But they just really enjoy laying like that.
