Rabbit scratching fur off his back

Hey everyone

For some reason Bleety recently in the winter months started scratching the fur off his back. Now there's all these bald streaks down his back.

Is he itchy because of the dry air, or maybe some kind of skin condition?

Thanks!!!

That is one hairy bunny you have there, maybe Bleety has a skin irritation of some kind it might be good idea to take a good look at bunnies roots where the hair begins.

Or maybe its just that Bleety is getting either too warm or maybe doing what my Toky_ohki does and makes a nest of hair when she knows cold weather is coming.

Have you actually seen Bleety scratching the hair off his back? Because if not, he could just be going through his annual/semi-annual molt/shedding. That generally shows with streaks of fur beginning to fall out. But if you're not sure, a visit to the vet may be the best thing. I hope it's nothing serious!

Thanks for the help guys! If it continues, I might take him to the vet just to be sure.
