Wednesday morning brought a moderate amount of snowfall to The Midlands , London the South east including Kent , Sussex , Surrey and into Hampshire , the weather forecast during the previous few days predicted such weather but due to decent snowfall being such an uncommon occurance in these parts I withdrew the forecast as obsurd .
I was woken by my mobile phone at around 5.15 am on Wednesday morning , hasten to say the incoming call from my mother I thought something was wrong or there was an emergency , I missed the mobile call and settled back into bed before being disturbed shortly afterwards by my Landline phone , I forced myself out of bed to find Mum on the phone and she told me to look out of the window as it had snowed in the early hours of the morning.
On squinting through the Roman blinds it was comfirmed and I would'nt have missed this for the world , so feeling like **** and suffering from early morning grumps I put my special thermal boots on and took the camera out.
These pictures of Schneeball were among the first pictures I took of the snow outside.

On having a good walk around with my camera in the Woodside and Addiscombe areas the sun eventualy rose.
I then recieved a call on my mobile from Barbara to say it was snowing at 7.00am , being in the area I popped in for a cup of tea and fed = ^ _ ^
= Toky-Ohki a lump of snow * nibble nibble *
On the way to Mum and Dads , Barbara and I stopped off at the nearby green to their flat and had a snowball fight , the snow in places being as deep as an inch , which is fantastic for us in our region bearing in mind global warming.
