Shedding *bald spots*

Sunny has been shedding like crazy lately. They aren't necessarily *bald* spots, but the hair on her back end is alot shorter than the other hair. She's also been a little bit more playful..but that could just be her weird ways .

I'm wondering if these spots are normal? I took pics..the poor thing looks like she's been dipped in oil on her butt.

As you can see there's ALOT of loose hairs.

You put a baby in a crib with an apple and a rabbit. If it eats the rabbit and plays with the apple, I'll buy you a new car.

A lot of little ideas came to mind...one of them being mites, another being an allergic reaction. Might want to take her into the vet, to get a thorough diagnoses, but I'd be more inclined to think it's an allergic reaction.

That's normal for some rabbits--some rabbits are worse, actually! It sounds like she's molting pretty heavily, that's all. For some rabbits, the fur comes off in clumps like that.

If you're concerned, though, you could always call up the vet. She isn't scratching a lot or anything, right?

Yeah that's normal. One of my holland lops is molting right now and her fur looks very similar to Sunny's.

Perfectly normal!
You should see Smudge when he molts- since his butt fur is black, the bottom of the hairs are grey, so he has grey and black patches all over! His bald spots are really obvious LOL
But his poor little face has it the worst
