Do you know anything about showing rabbits, to begin with? Not to sound rude, but that isn't something you should get into unless you've done your research. It can be an extremely stressful situation for any animal, but for a species, who, in general, doesn't like to be held, the stress is probably magnified 100 fold.

Yes, you do need a pedigreed rabbit and a membership into a showing organization in order to show your rabbit. To be honest, it doesn't accomplish much, it's all based on how closely they match a "type".

Ok thanks and yes I have done a lot of research but some things say that you do not need a pedigree and some say you do so I just wanted to no for sure.
The reason i am wanting to show a rabbit is for 4-h and I also really like the holland lops and i do understand that it can be very stressful.

Not only is it stressful, but the focus on breeding and producing many rabbits only for looks can really take a steep toll on the overpopulation of rabbits.
