Update on Harvey!

Hi everyone!

Shortly before Xmas, Harvey went in for the snip, and he came out the most adorbale cuddly rabbit ever! It calmed him down no end!

The new hutch was built and is brilliant, so we set of getting a new rabbit! My friend at work breeds rabbits so we got a gorgeous female (Sherri) to keep him company.

Naturally, Harvey tried to start mating straight away and Sherri doesn't want none of it. She is used to males as she was living in a mixed sexed hutch before, but I'm worried Harvey is scaring her. My friend said this would go on until Harvey got bored.

I'm keeping them in seprate hutches for now until I found out what I should do! Any advice on how other owners introduced their rabbits!

Sorry I have no advice as I don't have experience with bunnies. Will keep my fingers crossed that Harvey calms down and stops doing that to Sherri. You tell Harvey to behave.
Oh, and pics of course would be great!

Well since you got him altered, I'd say he is doing it to show dominance. Rabbits will do that to show dominance over other rabbits, nothing to worry about as long as they don't fight.

Nothing too worry about at all!!! My neutered male would mount any other female rabbit for a couple of days and then stop. This behaviour should die down soon!

Too lazy to even think of a siggy
