What breed is my rabbit

I have had my rabbit for 5 weeks now and im wondering what type of breed he is. He is 3 months old and so far he weigs 4lbs. His ears are 4 in long and he is honey colored. I think he could be a german lop or a mini lop but im not sure. When i got him from the pet store the owner said he was a lop rabbit but i want to know what kind of lop rabbit.

Looks like either an english lop or a german lop. I'd be more inclined to say english, though.

My old friend had an English lop and he was way bigger then this little guy! And his ears were much, much larger.

I looked up lops and yours looks like a German lop from what I seen.

English lop

German lop

French lop

Whatever he is,he sure is cute!

Darn it, I used the wrong term, lol. Yeah, either a french or a german. But the little guy's facial structure does look German, though.

My adult holland lops weigh around 4 lbs full grown, so since yours is already that big at 3 months old he's probably not a holland and will still have some growing to do.

It will probably be easier to tell what breed he is once he's full grown. Since you got him from a pet store, he could be a mix as well.

But whatever breed he is, he is very cute!

Mini lops and Holland lops are different breeds, actually. Mini-lops grow to be about 8 - 10 lbs. Hollands grow to be 4 - 5, max.

So a mini-lop can still be a pretty solid-sized rabbit once it's full-grown. You might not be able to tell for certain until he's full-grown which he may be -- German or mini.

That being said -- OMGTHESQUISHYWITTLEFACEEEEEEEEE <3
