Unhappy what to do

What do I do... I am having doubts about my choice about getting bunnies. I've had Buggsy for a year now and he is still very nervous and has bit me. I've had Babbs for about 6 months now and she is just a mean bunny( scratches and bites for no reason). I don't know what to do.

I've had smaller pets (hamsters) and I loved them. Do you think that bunnys are right for me?

Are they both fixed?

I mean like I love my bunnies but they don't cuddle and I love cuddling my pets.

Yeaaah...that's the thing about rabbits..>.> They're not as "cuddly" as people try and make them out to be.

What do I do though?? My parents gave me a choice, bunny or guinea pig. Did I make the wrong choice?

I think that both animals were a wrong choice if you don't have the money to provide basic veterinary care.

Well, you've got rabbits, and you haven't fixed them. You're upset with their behavior, which is all very consistent with unfixed rabbits. It's pretty unfair to complain about how you don't like them and they're not friendly when you haven't done your part by fixing them.

I'm sorry I can't give you an answer that you want to hear. You ask if you made the wrong choice, but the issue really isn't with the rabbits, it's that you can't meet their basic requirements.

I hate to say it, but that's normal for rabbits who aren't fixed . Rabbits who are neutered/spayed make excellent pets but they can be temperamental otherwise.

I've been trying to find a good vet. All the vets I have talked to say no they can't do that. The one vet i talked to said to surrender them and then when I go to readopt them they will be fixed for cheaper. But I don't like the risk that someone else might adopt them before I do.

Where are you located? Maybe someone on here can recommend a vet for you .

There's also a list of good rabbit vets on http://www.rabbit.org.
