Question Bedding?

I use crushed up walnut shells for my Bearded Dragon's bedding. Is that the same as sand and can it cause problems for my Bearded Dragon?

sand is actually not that good for bearded dragons as they can eat it, when trying to catch crickets

Most say tile or other solid floors are the best, beardies actually come from areas of very compact clay and sand mix so it is not like beach sand. It is very hard and solid.

Use either an all natural recycled pellet cat litter that breaks down rapidly, newspaper or reptile carpet.
Walnut shell can be harmful as it can harbor bacteria very easily. Sand is a big no no.
