I am wondering how you should go about shipping a hermit crab. i know how to keep it warm and such, but I dont know how to make it so they are safe.please help.

I know quite a few breeders of small lizards...even snakes uses one of those deli containers with air holes poked in the lid...I'd add a bit of substrate in the containers (if your getting a few) put it in a secure box so the container wont get tossed around (can use newspaper around the deli container too inside the box) ...hermies have to be kept warm too...not hot..warm,so an heat pack would be nice to use too (outside the container...shouldnt come in direct contact with the animal).Hope that helps a bit.
I'd also strongly recommend overnight delievery if your going the post office route.
