you go Bernadette!

I woke up the other night to find what I thought was a dead hermit crab, I lifted the shell and beradette fell out. Well i noticed her Exoskelaton was hollowish. So i though maybe somthing go her. Well i was talking to my friend and she say to go look For beradette, well i did, and she had a Surface molt, thats why I was so puzzled, I havent herd of a surface molt before. well bernadette is doing well. And im happy, this was my first sucessful molt! Im so proud of my girl!

Yay!

I don't think any of our land hermits have ever molted above the sand. Good thing the other crabs didn't bother her!
