A Few Changes
Hi all,
I just wanted to take a minute and let you know about a few changes we've made around here.
Contests:
Contest participation has been dropped from a 30 post limit to a 10 post limit.
Profiles:
Profiles are now visible to all users.
Banners:
A banner rotation has been re-added to PT. Advertising pricing is going to be posted ASAP and should be quite affordable.
All limitation changes have been included in the Forum Guidelines.

That sounds good ... especially the profiles part. I remember when I was a newbie it was difficult posting sometimes when I didn't know who I was talking to ... other than the contact info (withheld originally for obvious purposes) the profiles probably benefit newbies more than anybody.

Actually upon further discussion we decided not to lower this limit.
Moderation means the first 10 posts of any new member must be approved before they show on the forum. We've had many malicious members posting profanity/pornography or just posting advertisements. This allows us to prevent these things from showing up on the forum.
