I'm one of the mods that has opted to step down. I've been with PT for a long time and have no intention on leaving... I just don't have the time that is necessary to be a good moderator. I think Andy will do a great job at taking over a great community.

I'm with Jodi ... I am the other mod who stepped down. I love it here & will not be going anywhere either. I just have too much going on & don't feel that I have been performing the mod duties as I was supposed to be - It is a HUGE team effort & I wasn't being a good team player. Of course I will still help out wear I can - it will just be "unofficially" 
I am eager to see what Andy (& Ben) brings to the community as I am sure they will do a fantastic job! Welcome aboard guys -- or as we always said -- "welcome to the mod squad"

Thank you all for such a kind welcome.
I grew up with the most amazing pets. First there was Kitty, our little Calico cat. Then we had a mutt we rescued from the pound named Licorice (who understood commands in English, Swedish and Spanish) and was my favorite dog. We had a teacup poodle (Button's was her name) and a Spinger Spaniel (Rosco). The last pet we had was Niki, our German Sheppard. She was a Schutzhund and passed away a few years ago. I sure do miss her...
Right now I am living abroad (working via laptop). I am in Buenos Aires, Argentina (so is Ben). I thought this was the best time for me discover other cultures before I meet my future wife and settle down (and save up for a house). So off I went to go traveling and working. Its a challenge sometimes but is really amazing to see so many different places.
So unfortunately I don't have any pets right now, but I plan to get a dog when I get back. On the bright side, I get to see your pets on here and that will help me get inspiration for other pets that could be fun to have when I get back.
