Cool Another note on Frosty

My Mom called the other day (I don't even know what today is) and was all upset. Her cockatiel doesn't have orange cheeks!! I told her that since he's a white-faced cinnamon, he won't get orange cheeks, but if she wants orange cheeks I can get her another. She decided against that. I had to inform her of the value in the bird world of the amount of white this bird has on it!

Now she wants a Capn Sweets.........

Nah - I threatened to bring him back home with me but she said No Way. I offered to get her a Capn Sweets but she doesn't think there could ever be another one like him - and neither do I!!

glad to hear she's gonna keep him! She will form a bond with him, it just takes a little time & LOTS of patience. He has to feel her out first to see how many buttons he can push.
I remember a few years ago we had a pied/pearl ties named Carly. She had a clutch of 2 babies: Uno & Noodle (my daughter age 2 at the time named them ) because we had fed/raised them they were the sweetest birds! I actually miss em.

But I deffinately want a grey.... they have much more personality! (and vocabulary too for that matter)
