cockatiel

i have had two cockatiels for ten years. one just died. i am now worried about the other one. she seems lonely. should i get another bird, or is she ok by self. she has never been alone

Considering the fact that birds aren't human, and thus don't mourn the way we do, I'm sure she'll be just fine, ^^ Animals accept death better than humans do.

Because most animals don't understand that what they see in the mirror is themselves, you can get her a toy with a mirror and that would help a bit.

Since cockatiels a flock animals they be happier with other cockatiels.
