Unhappy Eephus' new adventure

I'm at my MIL's for the weekend. Our first car trip with Eephus along ... The poor dude gets motion sickness. OMG how gross !
Other than that, he's done real well ... he's not terrified or anything like I thought he might be, nice suprise there. My MIL's schnauzer's not too thrilled lol
So ... I'm not looking forward to the 3 and a half hour drive home tomorrow, I feel so helpless when I know my baby's suffering. I wonder if there's anything that can be done to help such a thing in a bird ??

Oh no! My two dogs get VERY carsick so I know how that goes. You feel so bad and there is nothing you can do for them but feel bad for them.

I would try not to feed him before you leave. That might help a little but I really haven't come across anyone in this situation with birds. My one bird loves the car and would drive if he could

Ohhh! Poor Eephus!

Did you have him in a crate? or did he get sick all over you? Ewww..... I'm sure that wasn't fun for either of you!

I don't know of anything you can give a bird. Maybe you could ask Dr. Milt on Toolady.

Sorry, hun... I hope you're both feeling better!

BTW, how did Easter go? Does Greg know that he owes you BIG?? LOL

Poor baby!

My dog gets car sick and pukes all over just going out of the drive way!

How was the drive home? I hope it was better than the drive away from home!

Greg got barfed on, but not me ! Found out real quick that being outside the crate was no better for him !
The ride home was a bit better - I cut his eating off at noon, and we left at 3:30. Stopped a couple times so he could have fresh air. Of course, Greg had to take advantage ... here he is in front of a truck stop.

Cool

That's one I've never heard of either - but I think I would have done the same thing (hold off on food and put him in a crate). You have to be so careful in medicating birds.

Great picture!
