Alex taught everyone so much about birdie intelligence ... how terribly sad that he's gone. And how sad for for Dr Pepperburg, losing her friend of 30 years !

I told my cockatiels that they are not allowed to die...ever!

When I saw it on the net a couple of days ago, I was so upset.

They had something on today on I forget what station, and they were showing video of him talking, counting and whatnot, and I started bawling.

I don't know what I would do if Chicken passed away at an early age. I would be so devastated.
